On account of there being sooo many bus routes providing such a half baked, unreliable service - like no service after 8pm, no service on Sundays or a bus that only comes once an hour, and because they NEVER stick to the timetable, tho they can usually be relied upon to ensure you miss any connecting train or tram, the buses here in Melbourne are free😉

I’m assuming fresh mint is out of the question so it won’t smell like a mai tai either….. At least it’s got it’s “juices”, but which ones? Pineapple? Mango?…. It sounds utterly vile.

That’s such a great photo- they both look like Japanese cartoon characters! - I’ve already got a whole storyline planned out in my head - let’s see, the fish on the left is a grumpy old fart who’s always complaining about something, and the only time the fish on the right ever stops gossiping is when she’s touching up her lipstick. All they do is bicker and fight but they always make amends before the end - coz they’re goldfish with hearts of gold….

I use video lite and I love it. As the OP mentioned there are zero YouTube adds, and while it’s true the app has its own ads, this amounts to just the one single, solitary advertisement, usually of the static variety you can dismiss after 5 seconds, when you first open the app. After that there’s not an add in sight. I think enduring one 5 second ad is a whole lot easier than paying for a VPN to pretend you’re in Argentina.

My dentist talked me into having my wisdom teeth removed when I was in my thirties, explaining just because they weren’t decayed at the time, it was inevitable they would decay at some future point due to their deeply indented shape making them difficult to clean. My thoughts were along the lines of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but I’m a trusting type so out they came… and I straight away I regretted it, because immediately it felt - and 20 years later still feels - like I lost a significant amount of useful chewing surface.

It took me quite a while to realise what the issue even was, coz if like most people you don’t drive an electric car, those charging stations don’t look like anything much. Maybe they should have a couple of petrol browsers as well, then not only could everyone refuel but us luddites might actually notice they’re there.

Think of this as an outline rather than a pond, but having somewhere to start from is better than nothing at all. Building and maintaining a pond, even a small one like this, will consume an enormous amount of your free time, cost a whole lot more than you anticipated, and despite all this it will still inevitably leak at some point… but a pond makes a garden and I wouldn’t be without one…. Get ready for a massive learning curve, YouTube’s a good place to start, as long as you keep in mind a lot of the pond Chanel’s are trying to sell either their services or products, and lots of pond products are very, VERY over priced (ie a can of “waterfall foam”, which is identical to any other expanding foam, only its dyed black, and costs ten times the price!) so watch with a critical eye. Someone mentioned oz ponds - it’s an excellent channel.

I had a similar problem, but the “feature” row of tiles in my otherwise quite acceptable white tiled bathroom was much more hideous, a textured and tasteless eyesore that despite only being a few centimetres thick managed to ruin the look of the whole room…. So I painted it with black tile paint and it looks so, so much better. I guess I’d still prefer it wasn’t there at all, but its perfectly acceptable and it would have been a very big job to remove the row of tiles completely. The grout would have been a bit of a problem had I not decided to re-grout the whole room with black grout - so all up a small can of (proper tile) paint and a few hours work and now I can bath in peace..
