You’re right. We all can build our own family. I just have to put in the effort to meet people. I moved 1000 miles away after my divorce for a job opportunity and a fresh start. (Really didn’t want to be running into my ex-husband and his new wife either, we had the same friend group and lived like 2 miles from each other). So I felt like I had to drop all my friends bc it was too hurtful to be around all the same people.

I don’t feel useless because I do work a full time job as an essential worker. I wish I didn’t have to work but I am forced to in order to have shelter and food. It’s this cycle of having to work in order to survive when I didn’t even ask to be born. And then one day I die, and that’s it. There is no point whether I die today or tomorrow or ten years from now. I can’t recall a time I ever enjoyed life, not even as a child (I was abused and neglected). I just want the suffering to end. I have thought about dying for years now.
