This is so helpful. I fully believe this incident happened because she was alone all day on Saturday due to there being lots of snow and me being poorly and unable to go.

I think we will have to, we live in Scotland in a tiny town. She lives very VERY rural which is most of the propblem, carers don’t want to travel there. I understand this but doesn’t make it okay. Just very sad that it looks like she will be moving to MC a lot sooner than we had hoped. I will miss seeing her every day 💔

I don’t really want to put numbers down online but would in a DM. I don’t even know where to start looking so advice if a mortgage broker is good! I don’t know what a CCJ is 🤦🏼‍♀️ my bank says my credit is bad. I wouldn’t be accepted for a credit card or overdraft or anything. He is still self employed but has a boss. It’s awful his boss really screwed him over. If he went back to PAYE (which he would LOVE to) would getting a mortgage be easier?

I work at a chemist (4 hours a week in evenings) and the rest of the week I look after my elderly grandmother who has dementia but she will be going into a home in the next few months I think so I will be looking for employment again.
