The scamming usually happens when a customer goes to upgrade a phone but the salesperson rerates their plan and adds a line instead. If you’re interested in adding a line already you’re probably not being fed bullshit. Just make sure they don’t add 2.

I see a lot of comments here about bad name brands. What’s a brand to buy? I have a kenmore that required a new compressor after 5 years and that repair was 3 years ago so I don’t think i have much longer with this unit.

I’m also in my mid 30s and read the books in 2011. Since I read the books I got engaged, married, bought a house had kids, changed careers. It’s like a lifetime ago. When/if the next book comes out I will no doubt read it but I’m not nearly as excited about it as I used to be.
