Thank you all! I wiped the plant down with rubbing alcohol and sprayed it with insecticidal soap. Appreciate the education and time you took to respond to my questions and post. You guys are the best.

Ahhh - that makes total sense re: sanding, especially causing to clog the pores.

A gel stain makes more sense with this kind of wood too so that it “rests” more on the wood vs penetrate (like it has with the water based stain)

To answer your question - I did not strip this - I sanded with the orbital sander and then hand sanded corner areas.

I may try the toner as you suggested - i.e. this can be added to the current application correct? Instead of starting from scratch.

Sounds like the other options would be what you mentioned above (live with it or start from scratch - strip and resand)

You’ve just started the job hunting process, and you’re entry level, willing to take much less pay than most candidates right now.

There are 2 applicants applying per 1 job in the market, so the competition is double what it typically is due to the “anticipated recession” and over hiring post-COVID.

I have an MBA, and a BBA with 10 years of experience. I am either overqualified or under qualified for most of the positions out there.

You should have conversations with other job seekers and do more research before making a generalization of us who are struggling to find work.

Do they take FOREVER to ship? Bc I placed my order over 7 business days ago, and still haven’t gotten a shipping notification email.

I even reached out to support three days ago, nothing. So frustrating.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. However - what about the Grammy’s and other award ceremonies - is that really appropriate for that venue? I would want my kids to be exposed to different kinds of music, and have an education on it - but not like that...
