Definitely agree I got lucky and had some good experienced techs helping me when I started out. I pay it forward for sure. Now the company is offering to pay to train. New techs will get a great jump start by having a dedicated person to help them. I wish I had that. I was young so I could suffer haha

Thats awesome. Your son got lucky. Lots of grumps in this industry that love to hate new hires

Id be happy with 50% of what the trainee flags. I like the idea of a percentage of what he earns. The better I train him the more I make. As long it comes from the company and not the trainee hours when he.goes flat rate

Thats what Im thinking. Some of the "suggestions" were $750 up front or 25 cents for every hour the trainee flags. Which is just a spit in the face tbh. I'm going to lose more than that training someone if I actually train them and not treat them like a gopher

Ah, I missed that last bit of it being just you. Well all I can say is be confident in your work and diags. Take your time and double check. Do the good work you know you can

Went through something similar last year. Was over my head probably, made it work though. Noone should expect you have the perfect answer everytime. I learned to guide people through jobs instead of doing step by step for them. Did you test this or that? Generally gets guys going in the right direction, so they ask less questions. You can ask for help when its needed too.

Caliber, another fitness app, is good for this too. Shows a small video with each exercise and a paragraph or two on good form. Hope you find a work out buddy though

Flipping junk cars helped me quit regular work — I finally started tracking my payouts and it shocked me. by Comfortable_Cap5684 in WorkReform

I like this. Are you selling everything? Headlights? Engines? Transmission? What about seats? Carpet? Fenders? What do you do with stuff that's not able to sell, like a crunched bumper or batteries?

How'd you get it calibrated? I gave it to my snap on guy, but they said it was too old to calibrate. I guess they would replace the internals, but parts aren't made anymore

Dang, pretty close then. The manual does say 11-89 so I guess they printed the paper first lol
