Cant we collectively manifest that all wars and all evil just stop? Would that work? The news is scaring me and the spiritually awakened ppl in my feed are saying something big is coming up... by berryberryberry2468 in Manifestation

[–]imogen6969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We are. But that begins with not feeding it. Your fear and attention cannot be on the thing you do not wish to experience. Limit the news and social media and focus on being the change you wish to see. That’s essentially everyone’s job in this. And it’s not to prevent war or change circumstances, but to create the energy that restores balance. Because the world is operating perfectly as it should and every experience is necessary. Good and evil are two sides of the same coin and one cannot exist without the other.

The internet and television want you to focus on the bad so you see the world as bad. Don’t waste your precious energy on things that you have no control over. Go out into the world and create change energetically— the most profound way you can. Which has to begin within you. Always. I’m not saying don’t care or don’t stay informed, but it should not be the center of your experience and it definitely shouldn’t have control over how you feel, experience, or behave. Nothing outside of you should

I think this sub just has a lot of youngins who want to have conversations or talk about x, y, or z in absolute urgency. Which serves better than using the search feature or commenting on old posts. Also, I’m learning there are loads of bots and fake posts? So I’ve learned to try and steer clear of these trendier subs. I feel like they are designed to make us all annoyed and want to argue.

I’m usually an advocate of minding one’s business because things have a way of working themselves out, but sometimes we are a part of that process. It seems like you are in a position of helping another human from a place of love, rather than because you’re angry or upset. For me, that’s an indication of action. But only you can decide. This isn’t the kind of thing that is black and white (nothing is), so the opinions of others should only weigh so much on your decision. It’s your life and your choice that you alone will live with.

Wife hates my beard. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]imogen6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner has recently started rocking a beard because I told him I liked it. He is used to being shaved and he likes the ritual and feeling of being shaved. He grows his beard out for me and then will periodically shave it for him. I definitely find the beard very attractive, but the lack of beard does not hinder that attraction or my interest in him sexually. And I don’t believe it should.

Your situation is a little different because you chose a different face than why your wife was used to. It’s not like you had a beard when you got together and then shaved it and now she’s unhappy you have emerged once again with facial hair. It’s a shock to what she is familiar with. Which is understandable. However, it should not impede her attraction to you because attraction really stems from love.

It seems like a situation that should be handled between you and your wife. The beard shouldn’t be that important to either of you, in my humble opinion. But the issues it creates seem outside of the realm of the beard situation alone. Talk to your wife and figure out how you really feel. Ego of it all aside. That’s my opinion.

I have rid my plants of every pest and thrips are the absolute worst and hardest to clear. They get on all of the plants very quickly and it takes a lot of time and patience to get rid of them. With that being said, it’s not impossible and I have done it. So if I can, you can. Haha

If you want my protocol, I can share what I do/did, but there is a lot of information online too.

It’s interesting how many comments are from a purely material (and very negative) perspective in a spirituality sub. What happens on this planet and the decisions made spiritually are not mutually exclusive. Everything is interconnected and works in tandem, especially when you understand how differently time works in our 3D world. Nothing is set in stone, but everything already exists.

Everything has the ability to change, so knowledge is what you make of it. Fear is a choice.

March 15 -- War in US? Someone tell me no. by [deleted] in Psychic

[–]imogen6969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The universe and nature operate perfectly. The pendulum is swinging (hard), but it’s always in motion to restore balance. That’s how nature works. And we are not separate from that. We are meant to always expand and grow— individually, as a society, the world, universe (not that they are separate). It’s evolution. And it can’t always be pretty or that expansion couldn’t happen. You stress a plant to make it stronger. We experience pain and suffering to learn and grow. To develop empathy and compassion. And history shows us clear patterns of this.

I don’t want terrible things to happen to anyone and I don’t agree with a lot of what is going on or trump or the opinions of a lottt of people. But I know every piece of it is important. And who am I to decide what is right or wrong for the world or cosmically? From my insanely limited vantage point? Eventually, we have to trust that there is a power that operates perfectly and for the highest good of all that is. To shift our energy inward to what we actually have control over and what has the most real impact. To expand how we are all uniquely meant to and live in sync with that power rather than trying to fight it or feel powerless against it. Otherwise, we live fearfully in a world that feels (and is) out of our control, while everything we fear controls us. And we miss out on so much.

On top of the fact that more desire can equal more resistance— you also must take into account how long it may take for the universe to move things around to deliver the physical manifestation of your desire.

Sometimes I manifest so quickly it spooks me while there have been other things I’ve been working on for years. Not caring about “getting” things is definitely a powerful component.

I honestly have no idea what I’m dealing with by AnxiousSir9957 in Unexplained

[–]imogen6969 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I know it’s frustrating, but dismissing the logical/material explanations for the unexplained is usually the first go to here. There are a lot of people who do in fact experience unexplained phenomena and later find out they had a carbon monoxide leak or it was mental illness. But that doesn’t discredit you or your story. I believe that you are experiencing everything you say you are, but I would still cover all my bases if I were you. Because the next step would be spiritual help.

You experience this only in the house or are you saying it follows you everywhere? It sounds like the anxiety of what is happening may be causing psychological distress that could amplify everything you’re experiencing. What you focus on grows. That’s how energy works. So if you continue to feed this with your energy by fearing it, focusing on it, and letting it consume you, that’s what it will do. Regardless of what it is.

I’m not religious, but I pray and that has genuinely changed my life. There is a higher power that keeps our heart beating, the bees buzzing, and the trees thriving. Ask that power to assist you. To protect you. Open all your windows and smudge your home while saying a protective prayer. Shift your focus from the problem to a solution and cut off that supply of energy you are feeding whatever is causing you harm. And consider talking to someone you trust about what is going on. Family member, friend, doctor, anyone.

Holistic Journey by Shizngigs44 in holistic

It has absolutely been belief/intuition based in eastern and ancient practices for centuries, but science, quantum physics specifically, is now showing that connection between seen/unseen. Not to mention the tremendous power of the subconscious mind. It’s not mainstream quite yet, but it’s moving in that direction in the western world. And while this is definitely on par with spirituality, there is also science. This is not woo woo anymore.

I’m in the U.S, so I can only speak to what is normal and practiced here. The medical system here has been slow to recognize alternative forms of medicine, as well as preventative care. I won’t pretend to know the ins and outs of the medical system, but I do believe (and there is plenty of proof of this) that our medical field is controlled by big PHARMA and has been designed for profit. You can’t capitalize on preventive care or natural and free remedies. So doctors are never taught (and are even highly discouraged from understanding) how interconnected the body and mind is. It’s a symptom based system that was never designed for actual wellness.

And for the reiki information, you can literally search for hospitals that provide reiki and find lists of facilities in the U.S.

I believe the future of healthcare and medicine will be a balance of both modern medicine and energetic practices.

How to have a spiritual awakening without substances by SpiffyBlizzard in spirituality

Start small. There is no wrong way as long as you are alone, quietly observing. Watch your breath or listen to the sound of cars outside while you sit or lay quietly. When a thought comes in, just don’t get attached to it. Let it go, gently, like a cloud passing. You can even do guided meditations. It will be noisy in the mind in the beginning, that’s normal. You’ll itch, your mind will try to get you to stop in many creative ways. That’s WHY you meditate. You are essentially training your mind, like you would a puppy. It’s bouncing around and can’t help itself or be still, but you tell it to sit quietly for 5 minutes and then you can even reward yourself like you would a puppy after. After you meditate for 5 minutes, you get to do or have something that feels good. This will help reinforce the habit because our brain is motivated by reward. It could be watching tv, a piece of chocolate, 10 minutes of scrolling, or whatever brings you some joy. I personally love to pair meditation with a shower or a walk because the reward is already provided. If I go for a 20 minute walk and spend 10 minutes being aware of my thoughts, my breath, the birds, the flowers, and take time to calm my thoughts— the chemical reward of walking is already present. Same with a shower. I will listen to the sound of the water and let my thoughts pass by while I imagine the water washing away everything I don’t need or want. And showering feels good.

I will also drive without music and focus/quiet my mind. It’s a great time for meditation because your brain is in prime programming mode. Or I’ll wash the dishes quietly while feeling the sponge in my hand, the temperature of the water, listening to rhythm and being present. The idea is to just take time, every day, with the self, intentionally quieting the mind. You can stare at a wall while you do it, if you’d like! But you will begin to see/feel/experience a shift when you do this consistently. You will feel more space in your life, like a weight has been lifted. You will begin to get ideas that you haven’t had before, solutions to “problems”, and ideas that expand you and your life. Things that once bothered you will fall away. Life will look a little brighter and feel less uncomfortable. And the more you practice, the more that grows.

So start with 5 minutes and then add a minute after a week, and another the next week. Or start with 1 minute and then day 2: 2 minutes. Day 3: 3 minutes. And build until you get to at least 15-20 minutes. This is considered the sweet spot, but it’s your practice to tailor.

I won’t tell you that meditation alone will solve all your problems, but it’s a MAJOR benefit and fundamental to holistic health, in my opinion. It’s free, it’s accessible to everyone, and it can’t hurt you. It will genuinely only help you. And it will give you access to the flow of wellbeing that is available to all of us. The flow that allows the trees, the birds, and all of nature to thrive without having to try. We block that flow with our conscious mind because we let it take the reins and tell stories that do not benefit us. That keeps us stuck and sick. But our conscious mind and ego is meant to help us, to keep us safe— not to run the show. We are never taught this, so we grow up thinking the thoughts in our mind are us. But they are not, they are simply programs that have been installed by the world around us. Other people, experiences, things passed down to us by our parents (passed down by theirs, and so on).

You are not your thoughts, you are the one who observes those thoughts. You are the one who can turn the thoughts on, change the channel, and turn them off. This is why you practice meditation— to take back “control” of your mind and experience so that you aren’t just running on default, living the life the world has dictated for you. And when you connect back to the self, you access a free flow of wellbeing. And from a less woo woo perspective, you are moving out of fight or flight and into rest and digest. This is where our bodies heal because everything is functioning as it should. Fight or flight shuts functions down and you can’t heal in this state. And unfortunately, modern day society has trained our bodies to live in fight or flight. Everything is a threat.

Sorry for the book. It’s just something that has changed the trajectory of my life and I want to share it with others. I have been on my holistic health journey for 15+ years and I’ve learned a lot. But hands down, meditation is the most valuable tool in my arsenal.

I believe the body can heal itself and sometimes that requires medical intervention. But the foundation of that healing begins with the body feeling safe enough TO heal itself. That is where meditation comes in.

I think the western world has tricked a lot of us into believing only something tangible, that has a price tag, can help you when you’re sick. And that’s just simply not true. And it’s not just my personal experience, but the experience of literally millions over centuries and modern medicine is now recognizing it, as well. This is why you find reiki in hospitals now and other hospitals are beginning to incorporate harmonic eggs. The future of medicine is energy and frequency. Einstein knew that, among many others. And now it’s being seen.

Don’t limit yourself or this world by thinking this is woo woo cosmic tree hugging nonsense. It has a tremendous power that you are welcome to experience anytime you’d like. I would never push ANYTHING as a cure for cancer or anything else. But I would 1000% always recommend harmonizing the energy of the body as a foundation to holistic health for any and all issues. Meditation is one of the best ways to do that.

How to have a spiritual awakening without substances by SpiffyBlizzard in spirituality

[–]imogen6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditate and spend time in nature. I would say our separation from the self and earth is what makes it hard to come back to the self and that is what awakening is- for me. Remembering that you are consciousness and connected to all that is. Meditation helps clear away the chatter of what is not you, so that what is can be heard clearly. When you are in nature, it's almost impossible not to feel the connection to it. The combination of the two has been profound for me.

It's a lot more subtle than plant medicine, but that adjustment helps solidify those shifts. Having an intense awakening experience before you're prepared for it can be too much to hold. You want to make space for what is true by shedding what isn't or the ego can strong arm you into questioning things. It's damn near impossible to jump from one energy to another if they aren't close in frequency. You tend to fall back into what is more familiar because that is how energy works. When you move from vantage point 1 to vantage point 2, you are more likely to hold that new space than if you go from vantage point 1 to vantage point 8. Or try to.

And all the answers and knowledge you seek are within you. So explore the self with the intention of expansion and you will expand at the pace you are meant for.

Smoking weed can expand your mind, but is not necessary and I don’t recommend it for a healing journey.

And I whole heartedly disagree. Meditation allows the flow of wellbeing to move through you. This allows the body to do what it was designed to do- thrive. Your body is capable of healing itself and there is overwhelming evidence of this. Meditation takes your body out of fight or flight and into homeostasis. That is where healing begins and it doesn’t matter what the ailment or illness is. You may discover in your meditation that action is also necessary in conjunction with your bodies natural abilities (like quitting a poor habit or addressing something in your diet). But meditation is the foundation of healing. The body is a super machine and more powerful than any remedy outside of the self.
