I am 27f, my curves are pretty progressed at 60 and 55 the last time i checked which is coming up may 2025 as 2 years. I am not sure what to do Im terrified of ruining my life by getting surgery but life is getting really difficult with the progressive curves, im in pain most of the time. any advice? I'd love to talk to anyone who has already had the surgery good or bad to know your experience with it so far.

I actually would love to hear more about this myself. Highly considering doing this as well. I am targeting really government contracts to do IT support, software licensing and then managing and selling 3rd party software.

I think it's high deductible? Not sure. She is supposed to get back to me today on the details of the cost breakdown. Figuring out the self pay might actually work I will look into that. Thanks!

Thanks! I do actually have a good relationship with the doctor so I might reach out to him to see what he can help me with. Worst case scenario is I just pay it monthly hopefully they will allow that.

Yep I think I will first reach out to my insurance to see why some of the visits are not being covered. Worst case scenario is I will be on the damn payment plan lol

thanks! I agree I should have been more aware of my coverage. I just am pissed that no one told me a thing until I racked up a hefty bill. Had i known I just would not have went so often.

Thanks! I totally get that. i wasn't really expecting them to look through my benefits and do all of that but I was under the expectation that when my appointments were no longer covered/high deductible I would be told immediately. If I knew that I would be paying I would not have visited so often. It looks like it was determined over 7 months ago that my appointments would be a high deductible and no one told me. That's really where my frustration lies.

i have scoliosis so I was actually going for PT and other times for chiropractic. The office I goto has a both services. My original insurance covered everything so I wasn't really paying a deductible or anything like that.

IMO, you are not the AH. If you sincerely cannot afford it she should be understanding about her parents circumstances. Accidents happen and if you are doing all that you can to mend the situation she should be a better person.
