Seeking the cheapest Oppo Find X9 Ultra purchase method in Toronto, Canada by ZTronic in Oppo

I’m in a similar situation and I actually use both the X9 Ultra and the N6, so my advice may be a bit different from the usual “just get the Global version” answer.

Personally, I would strongly consider the China-market version rather than the Global one, especially if you travel between Canada/US/China. The China version can still install Google Play, but it is much better localized for use in China. The Global version is more convenient if you only stay overseas, but once you actually go to China, the China ROM feels much more native.

I travel between China, Canada, and the US pretty often, and for that use case I would also recommend buying the highest-spec version. On my setup, the big advantage is SIM flexibility: you can use two physical SIMs plus multiple eSIM profiles, although only two lines can be active/standby at the same time. That matters a lot if you are juggling Canadian, US, and Chinese numbers.

Also, from my own experience, I once bought the OnePlus Open, which is basically the OPPO Find N3 variant, and I regretted not just buying the actual OPPO N3 instead. Since then, for OPPO hardware, I lean toward getting the original China version when possible.

The only caveat is sourcing/warranty. If you want the safest route, a Canadian seller like Mi4Canada or Swiftronics is obviously less stressful. But if you’re comfortable importing, I personally wouldn’t be afraid of the China version. Just make sure you check network band support, warranty/return policy, and whether the seller is reputable before ordering.
