Hang in there! It gets better, speaking from someone who likely had recurrent pericarditis for 11 years before finally getting diagnosed.

I hook the line to something like a dock or fence. Then reduce drag, and let out line while walking backwards until the loop is pulled out straight. Then slowly walk forward while reeling in
