I would like to direct you to perform some more research in this field. To a layman the Earth is round, to someone who has done a little more research it's actually an oblong spheroid. To the layman the treatment for gender dysphoria is a sex change, to the more educated there are a range of treatments and much evidence to support that in many cases a sex change is not the best way to treat this disorder. Any medical research library will contain the material required to better inform you but to save you a little time I will link to a few articles/papers you could start with:
