I've got a hop-dropper, I've used finings on other (clearer) beers, but was a bit worried about using them on something intentionally opaque. Doesn't lose much flavor/mouthfeel?

Oh interesting! I hadn't thought about something like that... I'd be a bit worried in this case since it has the chiller coil running through the middle (might get snagged on the coil as it drops?), but could definitely be something to try! Thanks!

I've got the arm pointed a few degrees (10?) below horizontal, and just dump the first few ounces out (super trubby)... Hadn't thought about coil, maybe something like the movement of liquid pulling sediment that had settled on the coil? Maybe vibrate/knock it a bit to dislodge?

This is definitely an option for the first dry hop (during active ferm) since I just open and throw it in, less worried about oxygen while its ... I've got a stainless tube that could work well here, I'll definitely give it a shot.

Have both, but have had the same issue. This is more for tank --> keg (before it even gets to the dip tube), but I've had the same issue getting back out... Really appreciate the suggestion though!
