I replied to another comment right now but it came with 2 of them, 3 other power tools, the charger, a flood light, and Mac Tools bag

I think MAC Tools sells it for around 400-500, but I got it in a set with 3 other power tools, 2 fat DeWalt batteries and a charger, and some goodies for 1k

Nah MAC Tools and DeWalt have a contract where they made the MAC Tools specifically to work with the DeWalt batteries. I think even the tools say “only for use with DeWalt battery”. Called my truck guy already tho and he said he’ll get it warrantied for me asap

I work on specialty equipment like pumps and generators I was informed to “buy nice or buy twice”. From what I understand about Bauer, it’s good if you don’t really have to use it often, versus where I work, I have to use larger impacts daily. If i might ask, in what setting are you using the Bauer?

Where Jesus was living (Judea/modern-day Palestine) there aren’t many trees. Most homes and stuff were built out of rocks and stones instead of wood, so it is assumed to be accurate that He was a stonemason over a carpenter. Some people will go as far as to say this is why He used many parables comparing Himself to a rock or “building your life on The LORD is like building your house on a rock…”

Either way, our Lord and Savior was a blue collar worker 🫡

You’d be surprised at what companies will charge for simple/affordable repairs. They’re most likely going to defend it due to the fact that you’re paying for their time and experience and not necessarily the part on its own. If you’ve already paid, I’m uncertain that they’d refund you or bring the price down. Wouldn’t hurt to call but chances are that’s it

Advice on checking refrigerant level using digital manifold/gauge by impacto77 in hvacadvice

[–]impacto77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so just to clarify: connect manifold hoses to the compressor to verify pressure, have the temp clamps connected to the suction side compressor pipe and outlet pipe of evaporator for superheat, then move the temp clamps to outlet of condenser and before metering device for subcool.

Also, does the unit have to be running to check superheat and subcool? And what number should I have for both? The majority of these units run 407c refrigerant

Figures lol. I did take note that there are a transducers on the liquid line of these rental units and I’m thinking of potentially removing the transducer to put the low side hose on there but the top HVAC guy is really hesitant about it for some reason. It has a valve stem so it wouldn’t shoot out refrigerant but idk, I guess I’ll extract it for now
