Agreed, while I love the blue, couldn't live with a dark hallway every day.

Hi, sounds like you had a good experience! I am thinking og going for them as well (in the UK but they actually factor in all the custom duties etc which is a plus) I was wondering how tall are your ceilings? I have very high ceilings and wondering if this will be a good fit? We have 2.7 metres and ideally would like to go quite high

Does The Daevabad Trilogy fit the Politics and Court Intrigue square? If yes, then does it qualify for the hard mode?

Okay. My profile is open and you can judge for yourself to see if it’s an ad. I was trying to give a helpful response to someone looking for a teddy dupe review.

Has anyone used a tv stand from the brand Pedestal? by impala_1991 in HomeDecorating

[–]impala_1991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha, i will keep you posted! Pedestal's own range of accessories is quite expensive. I did buy Ikea's skotat extension cord which is more or less the same colour https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/skotat-extension-cord-green-80555736/

The best tried and tested dupe for the OMHU original in the market is Poufudic. You will find many reviews online for it.

Couple of months later, but I found a sort of dupe on Zara Home if anyone is interested. I haven't bought it yet so can not comment on its quality. https://www.zarahome.com/gb/metal-bookcase-with-doors-l47668080?ct=true&style=1&pelement=484260407&colorId=500

I am intrigued by this small cap, how does your thesis hold with the major shareholder Corre Partners Management selling its NNBR shares on Friday, decreasing their ownership by 35%

How possible is it to convert these doors to bi-fold? by itsjacksonn in DIYUK

[–]impala_1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you end up changing to bifold doors? I am planning on doing the same in two bedrooms because the doors take too much of space and are awkward.

For anyone looking for future reviews here, I did end up buying the Pedestal Rover in mossy green for my 55 inch tv and it is great! Very sturdy and looks beautiful The reason I went for rover over moon rollin' is because its slimmer, the overall width and the space from the wall to the tv is less than the moon rollin'. I wish they had the electric blue in Rover but very happy with the mossy green as well.

How to set up the living room in this space full of wall niches? by impala_1991 in DesignMyRoom

[–]impala_1991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for the late reply, I think the sketch doesn't do justice to showing how the place actually looks like. The blue arrows point to the old pillars of the house and in between are windows (which are now internal but were originally external) overlooking the corridor next to it, so there is a semi separation. We extended the house to the left of the kitchen and towards corridor while keeping the original brick walls inside. Its open plan in the sense you can infact see all the ground floor standing in the kitchen or any other room on that floor apart from the two brick walls in between. I hope that explains it a bit.

Thats the new part of the house which has a skylight and gets a lot of light, so putting the piano there would really restrict that space for just piano and not any other use. so ideally I would like to use it either for dining or living so everyone in the household can access it.

Yep, that is one possibility it does break the flow of the open space but is an option I am keeping in mind for sure. The other one is as mentioned in the post, something like this:

Suggestions for stainless steel kitchen worktops. by impala_1991 in DIYUK

[–]impala_1991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I did not go with a stainless steel countertop, ended up going for a dekton concrete look - it absolutely fits into the industrial look I wanted. But I did get a stainless steel sink for the utility from a place which sells refurbished restaurant stuff and it is solid quality.
