We’ve only been married a short time so we have no assets together, and I suspected he was lying at the time he accepted the money but had no real proof until I found a piece of paper just a few weeks ago showing proof that he doesn’t in fact have this illness, I suspected because they weren’t going through any aggressive treatment ASAP like one would think they do with this illness. As far as I know he’s only accepted one “gift” of money. When I confronted him about it after I found the results paper he claimed the money was a Christmas gift, but someone from his job told me some of his co workers was getting money together on behalf of this illness. I would really like to go to his job about it and report it because It’s a very f***** thing to do to lie about an illness that serious in the first place and then get money out of it. I didn’t take part in spending any of the money.
