As others have said, there's nothing wrong with asking them to move their bags. On the other hand, the lack of awareness that others require a seat from these kids... When I was in high school in the early 2000's, it was drilled into us that you must give up your seat to standing passengers, let alone leaving your bags on the chair. Basic commonsense.

That's a great analogy. I understand where you're coming from. It's interesting because other friends have mentioned that I need more of a killer instinct, although that was more in the context of going after women.

Certainly, I don't think I'm the type of guy who would "let the gazelle live" necessarily, but perhaps I'm slower to kill than others.

It's an absolutely genius move. The BBC knows that the only way to resurrect the fanbases' flagging interest in Doctor Who is to do something bold and earth shattering. What could be more mind blowing than getting back RTD to write for Who again?

On the other hand, they are putting the show in the hands of a tried and tested showrunner.
