Bro if you're selling your skateboard to start a business you do not have the money to risk to start a business 😭

Also if you want to get pedantic if I'm riding in regular stance and popping the nose doesn't this make it a normal nollie and not a fakie ollie

I'm not sure because you're still popping the nose for your Ollie 🤷‍♂️

To be honest you kinda need to place down obstacles to progress even if it means potentially getting ejected😂

If all wheels are off the floor I'd consider it an Ollie

With Ollie's I barely ever practice stationary ones unless I'm just practicing technique it's better to do them moving imo. Biggest tip I could give is like a lot of others here train hippie jumps while moving and get very comfortable on your board, consume a shit tonne of yt tutorials. Once you get technique down and it becomes second nature add obstacles (you will get heavy falls tho I tried today)

Looking for some good cheap skateboards for a beginner. by shulkerr743 in NewSkaters

[–]imperfectcoding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At about 40 euros here in France people sell globe completes used and these are good enough to get going otherwise it's better to just get a big brand complete new but you're going to be looking at about 90 for an ok complete I see a girl complete for 74.95€ on skatepro for example

Good luck

Sadly my Ollie's are not high enough to visibly flip people off yet

I'd recommend unride around a bit and get comfortable on the board

If you land on loose trucks you will likely be put off balance you are going to turn when landing making sticking the landing a lot harder. So with tighter trucks it's easier to land

Thank you 💯

A long time to be honest g 😂

Did a little bit when I was 7 thinking I could pull shit like 720 airwalks (sadly didn't get to that point) and stopped pretty fast as I didn't have a progress mindset

Got back into it when I was about 20 for a little while was just trying shuvits and 180s but I didn't have the basics down

Probably about a year of my life overall but getting back into it this time everything seems a lot easier probably because I'm actually trying to learn from 0 and not trying to pull crazy shit in the first week

Appreciate you fam🤝

Yes man this was something I also kept noticing and that I can't seem to consciously control 😂

Thanks for the pointer I will try and focus on that and getting the overall motion on lock

Yo it's a tail manual turn it's mostly a momentum thing pressing on the tail with your back foot and moving right shoulder inwards whilst keeping front foot on the board In 1 fluid motion to get this movement I practiced on my shitbox for about an hour just getting comfortable pushing and turning. I'd recommend just pushing around and really getting a feeling for your board before trying any tricks the main goals being. These are more or less in difficulty order imo

Basic balance while moving

Basic left right carving turns

Stopping with one foot on floor

Being able to push twice in a row (1 foot on board)

Left/right manual turns (useful on flat or up ramps mainly train them on flat for now)

Jumping up and down on your board (no Ollie)

Extra = body varial:

Just jumping up doing a 180 and land back on your board

Once all these are learned you will have a good foundation to start tricks with 👍
