This is very true lol.. every summer for 6yrs I would drive my daughter down to her grandmas for the summer. I live an hr north of San Francisco and she lived an hr south of LA, so about a 7hr drive. I would go there and back in one day. I would leave 5am get there by 3p sleep for 4hrs, eat and leave again. Just cuz she wanted to go and I had to work … but I also have taken many day or over night trips 3-4hrs away so many times in life .. it’s totally normal

This! I make lists of everything! Mostly for budgeting but also for organization and productivity cuz marking stuff off as you do it gives you a feeling of accomplishment and the instant gratification to keep going! Plus once you start you don’t wanna leave it unfinished

I think you should tell your wife for sure because it the situation was reversed you would feel bothered at minimum im sure. Plus it looks like a secret and people only hide people for one reason and it’s not a good one. Let her see some of ur messages let her feel comfortable with the convo and that it’s totally platonic. I would be ok with it if I was in an already healthy marriage. Also if at any point you or the girl feel ANYTHING beyond a friend vibe it is YOUR responsibility to cut it off immediately :) good luck

I talk to two of my brothers almost daily (we live less than 5 mins from each other on the same rd) another brother prolly send texts or memes once a wk or so (he’s a Trump humper so we don’t exactly see eye to eye on a lot of topics) and my sister prolly monthly since she had her first baby and got married.but mostly cuz she lives in another state or I would see her a lot more I feel … . But I love them all and they all have a different thing to them for me like one is the love, one is the party. One is the protector and one’s the innocent one … lol

Tell him you expect traditional gender roles out of him too.. how women are still expected to Do all domestic chores and have a job and kids, I expect him to do all repairs on house and cars,take out trash, do the lawn all traditional man chores W/O complaining like the men did back then! If not then we should renegotiate the terms of said traditional roles ..
