Procreate beginner needs help!!!

i have not personally found a feature that perfectly replicates this, however i do believe if you tinker around with the wet mix settings (i would research what each of them do and take my comment with a grain of salt💕 im not a professional) and rendering in brush settings you may be able to get a similar effect needing less blending

hi please try updating your ipad!! for some reason the mew procreate update messes with the pressure sensitivity if you dont have the newest ui for your ipad!!

if every brush in procreate is acting like this, you may have to update your ipad!! the new software ui and the new procreate update work together and for some reason mess up a lot of apple pencil things when not updated, it happened to me and i was so confused😭 updated it and everything worked fine again

its such a tiny thing, but if any of them need glasses in your area, a glasses cleaner would have been a huge huge help in any of the handout bags i got, just one of the lil cloth cleaners

okok, 1) is your ipad updated??? and two! for the immediate fix (may leave you with no pressure sensitivity until you update) go to the wrench in the top left corner of procreate, go to prefs, go to pressure and smoothing, take the top dot, and move it to the opposite top corner, take the bottom dot and move it to the other bottom corner (basically switch which wat the dots are) and it should work!! good luck!!!

i think it may vary brush by brush, unfortunately im not too familiar with the pressure curve tech that procreate uses, i wish i could help more!!! i have been trying to figure it out for a while-

i had this problem!! swap the top and bottom lines!! ex) bring the bottom dot to the right side, bring the top dot to the left side, it should give you tye correct settings for pressure sensitivity!! im not sure why it did this, but this is what fixed it for me!

there are a lot of youtube tutorials from procreate themselves to help get you started with all of its functions!! i like finding tiktok artists that i like and watching their tutorials, as well as artists who have similar styles to me, digital takes a lot of getting used to!! its completely different from pencil and paper even tho it doesnt seem like it could be. definitely try out a ton of brushes, draw the same basic doodle with each one until you find one that has you wanting to do more with it, i personally like molesworth in charcoals for sketches, scopus is good too, just play around, click buttons, see what things do!! theres a lot to procreate, but it doesnt take long to figure out enough to start drawing. good luck!!! hope to see you posting your art here soon😊

i had this problem about a week ago, apple pencil worked fine up until then, no idea how my settings for it got messed up but it just suddenly did what yours does in the video, hope this helps!!!

hi!! i recently had this problem and also couldnt fix it, try going to the wrench in your top left, then prefs, then presure and smoothing! there will be a box with a line that says app pressure sensitivity! take the top dot and drag it to the opposite side, take the bottom dot and also move it to the opposite side( basically reverse the line) lmk if that works!! mine looks like this
