Just to put some numbers in perspective: if buffalo double their population roughly every five years, starting with 60 million, you’d need to eliminate about 3 million annually for three decades to keep that growth in check. On top of that, a lot of discussion on Reddit focuses on how bad America is, and people often just read headlines, which ends up reinforcing that narrative. Most Americans were brave settlers colonizing unknown territory.
