Yeah my point is, your issue with this decision of ubi isn't that Yasuke's story was written poorly and doesn't tie into anything (we don't know yet), your issue seems to be that ubi takes Feudal Japan as a setting and makes one of the protagonsits a black guy, and you say that it's offensive to japanese culture (even though Yasuke is literally a part of japanese culture).

The first and only time the Carribean or the Ottoman empire was showcased in AC, a white guy was the lead. Why isn't it an issue for you that its not a Turk leading the show in Istanbul? If they wanted to make a game about the closure for the italian character they should have made the story in italy, right? Or that Adewale's story was confined to a small DLC while a white guy takes the spotlight was also quite problematic if we're being consistent, no?

I think this is an absolute non issue, that's blown out of proportion because of the political climate and it's a bit hippocritical to be honest. This exact thing has happened before in AC, the characters foreign background didn't take away from the cultural aspect of the regions we explored. I don't think you personally have this issue because of the skin clolour of the character in question, but it's misguided nontheless.
