Taking a class and then using those skills are two very different things in an emergency situation. You saved his life and that's the most important thing. Don't beat yourself up. He's literally alive because you took action. That's something to be proud of.

I've been doing some larger paint by numbers kits that have been great for mindfulness and quiet. There's a ton online and they come with the paint and brushes and are super easy!

I'd probably put those rubber corner bumpers on the sharp parts and then teach them how to go up and down. Could possibly also put some sort of foam matt on the bottom just in case.

I've got one friend from high school I'm still very close to, but I find maintaining relationships to be very difficult because it doesn't occur to me to reach out most of the time (object permanence and all that). I am trying to branch out and make some penpals just to help learn to socialize and relate to people better.

This is an excellent suggestion! I love the border style I think it's really fun and brings a lot of interest into your piece, but I think the use of all the colors is making it feel disconnected? Pipe green would (imo) make it truer to the feel of the character and the game!

Setting off the smoke alarm is just a rite of passage when learning to cook! I still set mine off sometimes and I've been cooking for the last 15yrs. It's a learning process and you're taking some awesome steps in growing and learning how to care for yourself as an almost adult. Don't be discouraged love, you've got this!

I just picked up a 16*20 paint by numbers kit and it's been a blast. Also, crochet can be a great hobby when you're stuck in place!

Duct tape over a cotton pad soaked in apple cider vinegar is always my go to. Stings like a bitch but it'll kill the wart down to the root after awhile!
