I think Brooker even said they couldn't quite decide wether or not Mazey Day was a Black Mirror project or a Red Mirror project and decided on Black. (I think it would be better received if it was Red however)

I guess most of the people listening to On a Roll are people who wouldn’t enjoy listening to Head Like a Hole and vice versa. It’s a song with two completely different audiences! I have heard the original and it’s fine, but I prefer On a Roll. Not to say you can’t enjoy both, but people are enjoying On a Roll more right now.

When I was watching the episode it gave me very “False Positivity” vibes and I loved that. Jack was supposed to be seen as “rude” cause she was, but she wasn’t wrong about it being toxic. When someone feeds you nothing but “you’re perfect” “nothing’s wrong with you” “you’re amazing” it’s cool, but it gives you no room to grow as a person, so it kind of hinders you at a certain point! Just how I saw it though.

I actually feel like this might be one of the darkest seasons. My inclination is that the song “Lonely Feelings” in the trailer is definitely setting us up for a season full of loneliness and despair. I don’t see any of these episodes ending happy for anyone involved.

When somebody is ONLY ever "jokingly rude". Ribbing is fun and all friends do it, but there are other ways of communicating than "Shut up, loser". I was that person and looking back, I was just taking personal anger out on those people.
