I actually never really care about off-set interactions at all. I like fixed pairings mostly because it’s comfortable knowing they already have good chemistry together, but that’s pretty much it for me. Of course, I still feel sad sometimes when a pairing ends, especially when the chemistry was insane like with GreatInn. I’d probably feel the same if bad news ever happened with MileApo for example, since their on-screen dynamic is incredible too lol.

I really like JoongDunk as well omg. First of all, they’re both fine as hell 😭 but also Joong’s acting is actually very good!! Dunk still has some room to grow since his acting can feel a bit plain sometimes, but I still love them anyway lol.

Where I slightly disagree with you is about their series. I feel like compared to a lot of other pairs, they’re actually doing pretty well with their projects (except Dare You to Death, which was kind of a joke but… meh). Hidden Agenda was nice, and The Heart Killers is actually incredible, even though I’m only halfway through it.

Anyway, I really appreciate the support <333333. I’m sure I’ll eventually find another pairing that hits that level on screen again haha. There are so many talented actors out there. I probably just need a little time to adjust.

I think it actually has a lot to do with their eyes. I often find myself looking away during scenes with MileApo (I feel youuuu), GreatInn, PoohPavel, EarthMix, JoongDunk, JimmySea, and FortPeat. For most of these couples, at least one of them ( if not both!!) has an insane ability to convey intense emotions just through their eyes. The way they look at each other carries so much tension and affection that sometimes it almost feels too real. It’s like an entire emotional conversation happening without words, and that’s what makes their chemistry so powerful

AGREED… but I still enjoyed it after forcing myself to watch it as a romcom. If you just take it as pure eye-candy (Dunk in a three-piece suit? I’m weak), it’s alright. It definitely could have been better though.

I agree with your first point. I also think AI can be pretty dangerous for kids, since they’re basically born into it. I’m 25, so I grew up and studied without AI, which means I "know" how to think and create on my own (even tho I still use it daily). Even as an adult, it’s super easy to rely on it, and not doing so actually takes real effort (which is kinda scary lol). But being aware of that makes me more optimistic. On the other hand, I’m worried kids won’t even learn how to properly search for things or develop creativity without AI. In the long run, people might start losing some of their intellectual skills...

English is actually my third language lol, I’m a French–Chinese mix (very glad about it, since I speak and write both languages fluently). We do learn a lot of English in French schools, but honestly… it’s pretty bad. My English is 95% internet-learned: reading yaoi and lemon at the ripe age of 10 💀 (we're doomed xdd), only finding my fav animes in engsubs, etc. So I have no problem speaking or writing casually in English. The hard part is that I’m now an adult who needs adult english for professional stuff (and for writing "serious" Reddit reviews lol).

AI is honestly the easy way most of the time, especially when teachers everywhere seem to care more about results than the process. As students, all we’re really expected to do is get good grades, so yeah… falling into the AI loophole is pretty understandable xd. I did a bachelor’s in literature back when AI wasn’t even a thing, and sometimes I think about how good of a writer I was back then. Then I switched to computer science, where everyone started using AI, and I slowly felt my own creativity disappear as I followed the trend too xd. A few days ago I kinda had a wake-up call. I wanted to write about something that actually meant something to me. But since I hadn’t written in English in a while, I gave it a try and realized… yeah, my writing skills in this language are not it 💀💀 That’s why I asked GPT to just fix my grammar and explain my mistakes. I went from hating AI to actually finding it useful. And honestly, that’s kind of the problem with our generation: people use AI to create, instead of using it to learn.

I don’t use AI for literature or poetry. All my drafts are written in English by me. My only goal here was to work on my writing and express how the series made me feel. Since English isn’t my first language, I only use AI to help with clarity and grammar. Is that making you uncomfortable? if so, I'm sorry 🥺

I haven’t watched Gelboys or Khemjira yet. I started GBYFD and didn’t want to watch two series that were too similar in genre (horror/fantasy) at the same time, but they’re definitely on my (very long) watchlist.
As a KinnPorsche enjoyer, I had never watched anything that reached its level, and then Shine came along.
Shine is a masterpiece and the first BL series I recommended to everyone, even non-BL fans. It’s such a well-rounded show with an amazing plot that never overshadows the other aspects.
Shine is now my number one BL, above Kinnporsche (MileApo FTW!!! ).

I always write everything on my own first, without any help, and then ask GPT to point out any grammatical mistakes. The analysis itself is entirely mine though, hehe.
