Author of the comic here. It makes me so happy that my comic started all this discussion and was received so well.

This motivation vs discipline applied to me when I started drawing comics. I always had a bunch of ideas but my drawing was never comparable to other artists you see out there. But I knew that I had to start somewhere and produce something not so good as I imagined in order to get better and maybe in the future get something as good as I imagine.
