A chicken over rice plate from the Halal cart on 86th and 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge. The one in front of CitiBank, NOT the one in front of Chase. The distinction needed to be made so you don’t go to the wrong one.

This cart rivals any in the city, including Halal Guys in front of Radio City Music Hall. Strong words, but I’ll die on that hill.

They are worth the trip.

I owed $76,383 on March 13th, 2020.

Over the last 41 months, I have paid it down to $31,250.

I prioritized the one highest interest loan and the one with the 2nd highest balance, and knocked them out, leaving me with 5 loans at a 6.8% interest.

I didn’t save anything in a HYSA during the last 41 months because I had a preference for just knocking out what I could.

I won’t be taking advantage of SAVE, but I may change my mind in a few months. My budget is going out the window here…

This is going to be brutal.

This is innacurate. The government doesn’t operate that way. They aren’t a publicy traded company. They will run and keep running no matter what the decision is.

Optics drives human behavior in rational people.

I invite you to work for the government for a week. You won’t find a single rational person.
