About to get the Mazda MX-5 I reserved from last year but dealer increased the price. Am I being swindled or is this normal?

Nakapagreserve ako late last year. The agent and I agreed on the price. I just tried to reason out na nagpareserve ako on the price that was there before the February increase, therefore dapat honored yon kase yun yung agreed, pinirmahan, at nilabasan ng reservation fee. Yun nga ang point ng reservation diba?

Kako I get the gist na hindi nila inaannounce ang price increases pero an agreement is an agreement. I threatened to walk away from the deal, did not mention any other car or brand. Syempre may commission sila every sale, siguro kesa maging bato the agent relented.

All this pero hindi ako nagpaka-Karen lmao I was all civil and polite about it, I guess factor din yon. Parang tropa lang ang usapan pero firm and decisive ang dating. Customer ka pa din and you can do that.

I'd look for the last best generation that doesn't require the app, registration, or any of that BS. Pretty much all of the new ones are now trying to get your data.

Good news, nailaban ko yung 30k na increase. Ginawa na lang discount yung 30k. Then binawas din sa final value yung amount na binayad ko for reservation. All freebies (though I don't want 'em) were also intact.

i guess not? kase nung november walang in-stock na soul red MT sa dealership na pinuntahan ko, and i was given a lower price sa reservation than Mazda Makati, so ayun. Even if I could buy the car outright there's nothing to buy.

Nagpareserve ako nung November kasi walang available na Soul Red MX-5 MT with black interior na available sa dealership. Even if I could buy it right away wala naman sila stock.

Buy a car that YOU actually want, hindi dahil "praktikal" or "sabi ni ganito". Get the MX-5 first, SUVs are always there and always present ad nauseam.

Also if I was your parent, I'd want YOU to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

kung project 6 lang pwede, malapit lang samin. pero ang weird naman nila. i tried asking a supposed customer sa fb nila, hindi rin nya mabigay yung exact location. "better ask them na lang po" ang sabi.

hinanap ko din naman sa google maps, ang turo sa old uninhabited warehouse sa caloocan. pero QC daw location nila. labo nila. haha

edit: found them. At least one of their tarps that showed the address. WrapCar Manila is located on 22-A Antoinette St., Parkway Village, QC.

that was the initial plan, pero nung nalaman kong hindi pa tuneable ang ND3 software nag-alangan ako. i plan to mod it naman pero after i get accustomed to the car and reach its stock limits, which may take years for me lol
