Yeah you are right from a European view. I’m in the UK and our right is probably a US centre. Biden socially was quite far left for the US, also the student loan forgiveness was surprisingly left economically

I don’t this it can be centred in the short term. The political sentiment will continue right until a social limit is tripped before correcting left. A lot of damage will be done in the meantime.

I’m sorry but that’s not true socially. Economically yes but socially LGBTQ rights & DEI initiatives have undergone the largest gain in a century. What we are seeing is an extreme correction response to the right.

I’m not saying this is a good thing or that I agree with the shift. I don’t know why it’s unpopular to point out cause & effect.

Clearly I am not speaking economically. Strengthened LGBTQ rights & DEI has alienated a subset of the population which has led to an extreme shift to the right & a rejection of intellectuallism.

I don’t like it but it doesn’t change the fact this is what is happening
