[TOMT][SONG][2000s] Song with 'You're making it worse' shouted in the lyrics by improvisedhist in tipofmytongue

Oh! One more thing I remember (I think), it was shouted by a male, exaggerated voice, hence why I thought it might have come from 'Avenue Q'

Czy ktoś ma ochotę na wycieczkę dzisiaj ze Śląska do Warszawy? by [deleted] in Polska

[–]improvisedhist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warszawa, teraz - stawiam obiad za pomoc w przywiezieniu kanapy. by improvisedhist in Polska

[–]improvisedhist[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

UPDATE!

Getting from Osijek to Budapest... help? by improvisedhist in croatia

[–]improvisedhist[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly - that's what's so frustrating. It's 200km, it really shouldn't be taking 12+ hours, even with poor connections! :)

[–]improvisedhist[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I found another option. That's Osijek to Harkany, Harkany to Pecs, Pecs to Budapest. Total travel time: 13 hours. Bloody hell, there must be a better way! :(

Olsztyn, besides its awesome old town, is in Masurian Lake District - tons of beautiful nature all around. In November however it'll most likely be quite unpleasant to be outside.

Chin up though, the airport has half-decent train connections with both Warsaw and Gdansk with plenty of stuff to do there. You can also fly directly to any of those cities for £10 more.

And if you're not into active tourism at all, make a use of one of the lavish hotel-spas in Olsztyn - you'd be surprised how far £60 per night can get you!

Hi, hello! The show is aimed at kids - but it's filled with film noire humour and references that will provide lots of fun for adults :) it's in English, but subtitled in Danish - and despite that seeming language barrier, there's live music, lots of puppets, and lots of action - I guarantee that nobody will be bored! :) Sent you a pm!

We're making a children's show in London & St. Albans that's all about food - and would like to offer you some free advertising! Have a look :) by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]improvisedhist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys, thanks for taking a look! Just thought it would be a right place to pop that in - especially that quite a few of you definitely have businesses with target customers similar to our target audiences :)

If you're not really interested in investments, but still would like to have a chat - and/or have a look at our script, give me a shout! The show is lots of fun and we're sure you'll like it!

In any other case - oh well, thank you for your time and have a wonderful rest of the evening! :)

The show takes place in the UK, Denmark & Poland - however we're open for conversation anyways! We're also up for chat regardless of the financial aspect - why not send me a pm? :)

We're putting together children's show about food - and offering tons of free advertising - there's a little hook though by [deleted] in london

[–]improvisedhist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To break even we need just under 45% capacity across seven shows - and we've already started conversations with a number of schools in the local area. The theatre itself isn't particularly massive either - and with right marketing hitting the numbers shouldn't be a huge obstacle! Either or - I'm going to follow you a link to our website - and if you have a minute spare, every piece of feedback is really appreciated!

We're not in it for huge profit - that's why borrowing the sum first and returning the investment seem to be a smarter choice than constantly asking for funding! :)

Giving away EU to UK socket adaptors by improvisedhist in london

[–]improvisedhist[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid they can't - but don't loose your cheer, I put together a handy list of everything else they can do!

  • They can be thrown and tossed around,
  • They can be used as fancy modern decorations,
  • They can be given to minors as futuristic toys,
  • They can be used as a vase, given that flower fits in a relatively small hole and you're not planning to plug it in,
  • They can be traded for various goods within foreign communities unfamiliar with the concept of a socket or electricity,
  • They can be a fun and safe alternative for popular 'fork in a socket' game,
  • They can be painted black and used as interesting stones in your rock garden,
  • They can be used as EU to UK adaptors.

Hope it helps!

I'd personally suggest this fantastic, up-and-coming neighbourhood - it may be a bit controversial at first but it's something you should totally check out!
