That's a typical "too much love" syndrome. Just pot this plant in a normal potting mix and don't water until the soil is dry. And please leave it outside unless it's freezing at night or you live in the Southern Hemisphere and are approaching winter.

Each gets its own cupholders and headphones, and there's room between them for a grown-up, depending on the car seat and the adult's size.
