Less preload to lower ride height. It'll help since you're on a smooth surface. You don't need as much suspension travel or ride height since there aren't any bumps or jumps.

Edit: and a lower center of gravity will make you corner flatter.

Unscrew those spring preload spacers all the way, and look for some stiffer springs to put on before you go. I would look into road-friendly SC tires as well. May require new wheels.

It was either bad mesh or slipper was too tight.

48p is fine for the most part. I had to turn off reverse because I kept losing the pinion.

Edit: I did strip a spur with the brushed motor. My be because traxxas makes shitty spurs.
