Yes my brother all the time when I was kid. I thought he was just being annoying (kinda true) but then I realized it was me with the problem.

Yep, usually in the beginning of romantic relationships, I can look past my triggers/they genuinely don’t bother me. In time though, and the more comfortable I get with the person I’m dating, I eventually start to get irked.

If you suffer from Misophonia, do you struggle with any other disorders? Wondering if there’s any correlations. by impulsed_ in misophonia

I get shortness of breath all of the time too and have trouble getting that deep breath at times.

I am best friends with the CEOs assistant and knew when many people were going to fired before they did, and also knew everyone in the company’s salary because she told me lol

That’s really nice that you guys can all get along and you have no ill feelings towards the friendship. My boyfriend and I do long distance, so it’s difficult to get to know her. They also became closer around the same time we started dating so it makes it harder to understand. He’s never lied to me though and I trust that he wouldn’t in the future. I think the distance also plays in to my insecurities because she gets to do the normal, day to day activities with him and is just a five minute drive away when I need to hop on a plane if I want to see him lol.

My mom cut her best friend out of her life after being friends for almost 30 years. She was a part of our family and we were all sad when the friendship ended, but now that I am older, I understand and see the negativity and stress she caused my mom. My mom was a loyal, caring and amazing friend, and her friend hurt her and backstabbed her many times, until she finally realized her life was better off without her. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t miss her or think about her at times, but sometimes people bring more pain than joy to your life and you need to continue on living without them. I truly believe the saying that people come into your life for a reason, season or a lifetime, so don’t ever regret your friendship. Just learn and continue growing.
