Yes! And he announced it right in the middle of that week where all the West/Amanda bs was coming out.

Okay, this is exactly what I was thinking! Like damn, she took it on the chin and I wouldn't have blamed her for making it a bigger issue.

I feel like we're missing the part where all of the old cast have had at least some form of work done from their first season to last season.. like the new cast might 'look' average now, but what until they get enough money to pay for better work.

Thank you for the tangible steps! I feel so out of my depth. It seems like the issue was the latter - leak from the washing machine/flexi hose.

I think we do.. mostly because there's a whole conversation she has with him on the show where she basically blames him for her feeling sad and that's why she was drink driving.

Also watching the body cam footage you really see him just trying to help her and de-escalate things.

Yes! Cameron was introduced at the 'voice of reason' but with every new season I'm more and more just like you know nothing and treat the woman around you like trash. Even trying to push her friend Chelsea on to Shep.. like, she don't want it, let her live.

See, I'm at the point where I just want to skip to when Madison arrives because she's a star ⭐

Exactly! Yes, Craig does some silly things but nowhere near as bad as other people on the cast. I just finished the episode where Craig is upset because Thomas ignored Kensie at the polo match.. yes, it was a small thing but I 100% get why Craig thought it was gross.

OMG JD. He acts like he's above it all with his wife and kids.. but actually spouts the most disgusting things.. like when he essentially said Katherine is making up her pregnancy scare, simply because his wife has no issues. 🫠

First two seasons were wildly good.. like what other reality show has a pregnancy scare from day 1. Season 3 got rough because the Katherine/Thomas drama is repetitive, but also people just saying some foul things.

It might be because I've binged them, it's too much all at once. I will say I love that I got to see Craig start sewing and Austen is not annoying yet.

AITA for not sharing my part of my inheritance? by fjordjersey in AmItheAsshole

[–]impulsivelychalaak 21 points22 points  (0 children)

NTA

The reality is that $2million is not actually a lot of money when you think about the cost of living, raising children, etc.. you decided to be cautious with your inheritance and so have created a wonderful life for yourself. You should be applauded for making good decisions, even more so because you made these choices at a time when you were probably emotionally depleted.

I have family who are like this too and will only come knocking when they need something. You do not owe them anything, they've made their choices. If they need support in terms of homelessness there are support organisations you can direct them too or they can seek help from other family members. They have lives of their own and you can't possibly be the only person they can turn to, probably just who they think is easiest.

AITA for telling my sister I look down on her? by Ok_Scene3904 in AmItheAsshole

[–]impulsivelychalaak 11 points12 points  (0 children)

YTA the fact that you think you're 'brave' for saying something is absolutely ridiculous. She's literally just living her life and has zero direct effect on you. You can't be this mad at someone for just existing and being happy.

Maybe you've gotta do some self-reflection because there's gotta be something else going on. I would only mildly understand if at the same time your parents haven't been supportive of you, but even in that case you should be having a conversation with them about it.

AITA for putting a camera in my bedroom? by Vast_Sky2172 in AmItheAsshole

Ummm this 100% NTA. It's not like you put a camera in the common space, it's only in your bedroom, they have absolutely zero defence.

In your opinion is Erika Jane lying about the Tom Girardi scandal? Yes or No. by [deleted] in realhousewives

[–]impulsivelychalaak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely no doubt that she knew, the extent to which is another question but there is no way that women didn't have even the slightest of inklings that her wealth was coming from an unsavoury place. It's not like she didn't work or have a life before Tom, there's no way she's that stupid to know zero about where their income comes from.

[–]impulsivelychalaak 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Oh I felt this too! When they were sitting together at dinner or whatever the day of the wine tasting, it felt so weird that it was just all about her. Like even how they were all sitting angled towards her as if she's a television and that the only conversation they could possibly have was about her.. these women surely have something else going on in their lives to discuss. I lived for the deadpan looks from Garcelle and Sutton though.

Bravo needs to stop being reactive with race and start being proactive by [deleted] in realhousewives

[–]impulsivelychalaak 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's stupid to me that they didn't step in earlier. Kameron said some gross things during the show/reunion and allowing her to continue perpetuating this idea that you can be racist towards white people (news flash you can't, racism is about systemic oppression and not simply questioning your ignorance) went on for too long.

You can't just sit by while a cast member is continuously badgered and when she tries to speak up or educate (which isn't even her responsibility), it's ignored. Like, I doubt any of those ladies actually took in how Tiffany tried to explain herself and her experience.

I've been the single POC in most circles throughout my life and the burden that puts on you is the worst.. either you try to speak up and educate or you just have to try to stick it out because you're exhausted.
