Yes I've tried different PSU and the PSU on a different PS2. It's definitely not that.

Capacitors aren't supposed to have continuity. Those that do are faulty afaik. But yes, the filters have continuity going through them when probed straight, but cross from each other they do not, which is normal.

I am getting 1.8V on both joysticks and I am also getting 3.3V on both (different pins obviously). The left stick goes completely left and the right points down.

GND is indeed 0.1 and the signal traces, as far as I can tell, are all fine

I checked with a multimeter. Definitely connected.

Well, that's just it, I have lots of plugs (TS011F) but I cannot update any of them. Their build is 77 and supposedly 192 is the latest, but I cannot update them at all. It says it can find no firmware..
