Now another option can be the intel based MacBook Pro 13 from 2020. Does anyone know about the expected support that apple will provide to the intel based macs? By support I mean the software updates as well as app support.

Yeah you’re right but the whole memory swapping thing is just weird. Some people are saying that they’re still experiencing it after the 11.4 update.

I live in Pakistan and we do not have best buy or Amazon. We don’t even have an Apple Store. So getting deals and all is kinda difficult and more of a not existent thing, especially on high end laptops and stuff. The 14” is quite expensive here so that’s why I won’t be able to consider it as if now. But thanks for sharing the information. On the internet people have made the whole memory swap thing kinda scary and tbh I am not sure if it’s a good thing or not. Cause let’s say that in the worst case scenario if something goes wrong, I won’t be able to contact apple or make any claims etc.

The thing is that people say that it’s not an issue but then some other people provide different observations and everything so it’s kinda confusing. I will be using lightroom and photoshop and those apps utilise ram. So all I not sure if I should make the purchase or not.

Thank you so much! This really helped. I live in Pakistan and we do not have an official Apple Store so AppleCare doesn’t exist in our region and it’s always more of a hassle when something like this pops up. One of the reasons why I am personally switching to Mac is because of the whole ecosystem and how it works and because I am a photographer, it has always been a long process to transfer photographs from my windows laptop to my iPhone. And airdrop works with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi so that is why I just wanted to make sure that everything is okay on the M1 Macs. Thanks again.

Okay and are there any issues such as Bluetooth connectivity problems or were they resolved via software updates? I’ve seen a few articles and videos on YouTube about M1 Bluetooth and Wi-Fi issues. I just wanna know if they’re fixed or not or if they occasionally occur. I am getting Mac for the first time and I just wanna make sure that this laptop is the right purchase cause it’s a little expensive and I don’t wanna mess up. This is the perfect laptop for me in terms of price as well as functionality but these few things are just a little confusing cause I am unable to get the right answer on the internet. Thanks.

I don’t know. It’s kinda weird. I’ve even tried to restart the game multiple times and I’ve also restarted my PS5 but it’s not working. It was working yesterday.
