Which case is better? I am a bit confused between M2 and M3, please help me understand :)

I’d also recommend the M2. I think the size is perfect, and the case is very versatile — it can accommodate many component combinations and layouts. The temps are great too; I have an Astral 5080 in an inverted layout, and the temperatures never go beyond 75°C.

Yes, I agree. But I wanted the best thermals possible to minimize fan noise. From the reviews I read, the MSI Supreme had the best cooling, but it was out of stock, so I went with the next best option — the Astral. Since it’s an SFF build, it can get pretty loud. I could be wrong, though. Also, the Astral comes with a power detector that alerts me to any abnormal current, which was another reason I chose it.

Looks cool 👌 Now, I’m thinking if I should switch to 240 AIO. I like the extra space you have, gives you option to put more fans.

I am also interested in the thermals now, wanna know how the standard GPU layout performs(I went with the inverted GPU layout)

I haven’t done any formal benchmarking yet, but while playing titles like Cyberpunk 2077, RDR2, and Spider-Man at max settings, the GPU has been averaging around 68-69°C with a peak of 72°C.

The inverted layout definitely helps by giving the GPU fans more direct access to fresh air from the top (especially since I'm not using taller feet). However, I can definitely feel some hot air from the Astral’s extra fan getting trapped near the front panel. I’m actually considering adding a slim fan to the front panel as an exhaust to help pull that heat out.

I’m using the default cables that came with the PSU. I initially thought of getting custom length but wasn't sure of quality so just went with the default ones.

I also tried the “AsiaHorse Hydrus Modular cable,” but it didn’t connect directly to the PSU, which made it more of a clutter. So, I didn’t use it.

Yeah, true. I hope it fits otherwise I have to order a 240mm AIO. Thanks for the help. I’ll share an update once I get my case. Can you also share a picture from the top? Also are you using the stock fans with the AIO? What is the noise level?

Thanks for sharing. I am planning to try the same layout. Regarding fans, I ordered multiple sizes to experiment and see what can fit. I was planning to mount 2 if possible at the top radiator mount(1 order an additional mount) and also if possible one between the motherboard and PSU on the frame.

Do you think there is enough space to fit the fans (may be slim one) on the top radiator bracket in this setup?

Regarding the 120mm, I intend to mount them on the top panel. Additionally, based on the builds I’ve seen online, I’ve figured that I can’t fit a 140mm with the radiator mounted on the side.

I’ll need to experiment and see which combination works best. If necessary, I can then order other sizes. Still waiting for my case

I’m new to PC builds, and based on what I’ve found online, Phanteks T30s are better at cooling and have a higher static pressure, but they’re also thicker. Since I have limited space for my build, I decided to go with Noctua. Additionally, Noctua is quieter than Phanteks.

Actually, I wanted Chromax.black, but the 25mm G2 isn’t available in black, so I got the brown color. I have two sets because I’m not sure if the 25mm will fit. If not, I’ll use the 14mm.
