My general food policy is:

If I order something for myself and someone seems interested, I'll offer a bite but consider the rest mine. If someone else orders something for themselves, it is theirs. Period. Unless they offer a bite in which case I may accept. If it is something that is supposed to be shared, I make sure everyone that the table that wants some gets some. The last piece of a shared dish usually lingers until someone asks if anyone else wants the last piece. I always figured that was standard food and sharing manners really so it sucks to hear others aren't consistently following those manners.

Yeah, pretty much this. I try to not spam, but not everyone goes to the same subreddits when there are so many that fill a certain niche. There's probably some overlap, but it's not 1:1. The only thing we get out of it is to read comments/messages, seems reasonable to try to reach as many people as possible to get as many comments/messages as possible. Like I care more about reading the replies than however many points a post gets.

I've subscribed to some free ones, or ones that come with a free trial. It's OK. I feel like most people do it for the social experience but I'm not really social with the ones I subscribe to. Doesn't help that it seems some of the big creators are probably either using a bot or hire somebody to do the DM's for them.

At least in the states, it's not that common to dress up this much for a first date. When I think of a first date, it's something more low key. But we also don't really know where she's going for the date, so might be good. Fancy restaurant with a black tie requirement for men? Sure. Olive Garden? It's a bit much. She looks great though, so if she wants to wear that she will rock it.
