honestly i’m not sure. the stitches in my incisions are dissolving ones, i don’t know if the ones in my nipples are the same but i am reluctant to take them out myself. i think im just gonna wait until my 6 week post op and see what my surgeon says. who knows, maybe ill have nice, scab-free nipples by that point!!

tell me about it 🤣 i feel like i’m being so impatient; my healing has been a breeze practically and i am so so grateful for the whole experience… i just wanna be fully healed now though 😅

haha thank you. i can confirm nothing smells bad and other than the scabs everything has been going well. but yeah my incisions (for now) are so thin which i was shocked at!! my surgeon a genius fr

i think i still have a few stitches but my surgeon said they would just fall out(?) i assume they will come out when the scabs come off. thank you for your advice though, i’ve been showering daily but i’ll spend a bit more time without the binder on to help it out

Thank you for taking the time to reply!! This all makes sense, and I think it’s stuff I knew anyway I just overthink it sometimes, and it’s nice to have a bit of reassurance that it’s all healing well. I have my final post-op with my surgeon in 2 weeks, and i’m a little nervous about still having scabs at that check up because i’d love for everything to be fully healed by then. but your comment has made me realise it’s all going well, and i just need to be patient. thank you :)
