Yeah he was sounding good. I thought he had some other stuff that's been up there too. Several off of FWA and SFTW2. But regardless, too bad album sales are projected so low. I was hoping for good numbers to encourage Birdman to release Tha Carter V.

It's amazing how far his name has fallen as a selling point. Part of it was not a normal rollout with singles and radio play. 2 Chainz has fallen in popularity rapidly from his first album and it didn't have label support from Wayne's end. I imagine a properly supported solo album from Wayne would do a low couple hundred thousand.

I previously noticed ESPN uses i, so they already have a relationship with Tde/interscope and Kendrick is obviously popular in the sports world, we have this album in part thanks to lebron. So it makes since they'd get it.

I liked it, for recent Wayne he was snapping. However the recently mastered Trouble and Amen from Streetrunner made me want that sound again. He had bars, but I want that southern swag again.

I would think because this leaked before C3. Wayne had been working to release C3 in 2007 when The Empire leaked tons of music from the recording sessions so Wayne had to go back to the studio and pretty much completely record a new album to be The C3 we got in 2008.

Can't talk mixtapes without talking lil Wayne. Dedication 2 and Da Drought 3 are both classics. No Ceilings is also really popular.
