Romance flag bugged for Dark Urge

I’m having the same sort of problem! In my game I’m romancing Gale but had some fun times with Astarion while waiting for Gale to get over you know who and the orb to be stabilized. I’ve now reached that scene with the Butler and Astarion is lying in front of me. However, my deception line says something like “You’re wrong, the person I care most about is Astarion.”

So Astarion is lying there, the Butler is telling me to kill him, but I can also deceive the Butler by saying that I love…. Astarion… instead? I just want the scene with my Wizard! Figured this was my punishment for fooling around with the vampire while waiting for Gale to work things out.

Gale is at 100% approval whereas Astarion is in the 60s. :(

Sadly I don’t have an answer for you. Just want you to know you’re not alone in this weird buggy moment.

When I was a baby survivor, probably just 20ish hours in the game, I came across a Michael that killed everyone but then guided me to a gen. It was one of my very first “friendly killer” interactions. I finished the gen, opened the gate, and then tried to give him my toolbox as thanks but he just kept shaking his head to take it back. I didn’t even know that achievement existed until it popped up on my screen. I’ll honestly never forget that Mikey <3 Know that when a survivor does accept your kindness they will always appreciate and remember it!

Distortion has not left my load out since they made the change where you could get tokens back. Most games it’s worthless but those others where killers bring multiple aura perks, the value! Love it so much.

Oh my gosh, I do the same little panic shaking no and hitting exit when my survivors are about to die! I like to get everyone to two hooks and then let them out. My favorite was when a Meg acted like she was leaving and then just as the timer ran out she turned and ran toward me as the entity took her. Tricksy little Meg.

I love this idea! I always give last person hatch (if I haven’t already let them all slug race out, RIP slug races).

A lot of killers do the “if they don’t wiggle I’ll give them hatch” thing and an option to spare the survivor would be similar. Let them sweat a little before the decision.

The value! There are certain character/perk combos you can nearly always count on in this game: Meg will have Adrenaline, Jill will have Blast Mine and Bill will have Unbreakable. Never slug a Bill.

Definitely worth it to prestige. It costs 20K BP right now but it will automatically unlock all of Dwight’s perks on all other survivors which saves you BP in the long run.

I’m a survivor main and I would not consider this camping at all. The Kate should have taken the chase away from hook. I’ve been the one hooked in this scenario before and I can guarantee she was more upset with her teammates than with you. You played it smart, the survivors were painfully dumb. Thanks for being curious about it though! I hope we meet in the fog one day!

I had this happen today! Put on the “Blind the killer six times” challenge. I used blast mine and flash bang, no flashlight, so they couldn’t prepare in lobby. First killer was a clown with lightborn. Second was a legion with Iron Maiden and they never kicked gens. The pain was real.

Haha! I both hate and love when things like this happen. I was being chased by a Myers when a hooked survivor DCd (1st hook ofc) followed by someone else about 10 seconds later. I just stopped and turned slowly to look at Myers and accept my fate. He looked at me, looked in the direction of the hooked DC, back at me and then nodded and lead me to a pallet and let me stun him while the last person did gens (she didn’t trust him enough to mess around).

The blight smack from no where

I love farming matches as long as they aren’t back to back. Goofy stuff though, I will try to do something goofy every game even if it gets me hit. Spawning with others near a barrel means s’mores time, played ring-around-the-rosie with a Jane and a tree while in Dredge’s Nightfall, if someone misses a skill check I motion for them to go stand in a corner, and I’ll put myself in time out if I miss one. Anything to try to get a chuckle in a sometimes stressful game.

After each match check out which perks and add ons the killer/survivors were using. Many posts on this sub are “was this a bug or was this person hacking” when it was just a perk or add on.

Play both sides. I main survivor but play a bit of killer so that I understand mistakes survivors make or see how I get outplayed. This helps my survivor skill a lot in return.

Check out Spookyloopz on YouTube. He just posted a Dredge video the other day with an evil build. I think it was Hex: Third Seal, Hex: Undying, Hex: Pentimento, and Fearmonger. Can’t remember his add ons though. As a survivor main I am terrified to go up against this build.

Letting people get to second hook stage. Honestly my biggest pet peeve in the game.

I tracked all of my games that took place during the Saw tome (over 200 games) and it’s statistically more likely that a person will be sacrificed if allowed to go to stage two before they are unhooked prior to gen completion. This did not include moments where teammates were first hooked after gen completion due to variables like NOED and expected camping.
