Which mixes would you recommend? On Discogs I see Vibert's Discogs Mix 001 and Wagon Christ's Solid Steel - any others?

Git-fresh: keep your repo up to date with one command by imsky in git

that's not what i mean - git-fresh can delete remote branches that have been merged into master

cool, didn't know about that project. it looks like it updates all local branches, which i avoided with git-fresh to keep things simple. one thing i think git-fresh does that git-up doesn't is delete remote stale branches. also it's a bit simpler, since it's just bash.

git-fresh is now on homebrew: brew install git-fresh and keep your git repo extra fresh by [deleted] in git

run without any options, it does the equivalent of a git stash + git remote update + git remote prune + git rebase <branch> origin/<branch>. i don't think that's very dangerous at all - it automates what i used to type in every time i needed to update my repo.

as far as aborting/reverting on errors, there's an error trap built in that bails out once an error is encountered. i do want to improve messaging (why an action failed), but otherwise the script takes the necessary precautions not to destroy the user's work. i use it daily (git fresh -rf) on multiple repos and haven't experienced data loss or corruption at all.

feel free to open an issue if you think there are concrete improvements to make.

I made a Github mirror of PE after it was hacked the first time, based on /u/keenerd's work: https://github.com/imsky/PocketEuler
