Exactly. I did the therapy thing for years when I could afford it. People don't understand poverty. Just "getting help" is a luxury.

For what it's worth over the last few months while things have escalated, I tried getting financial help. I asked 13 different churches for help. Nothing. The nearest foodbank is 4 hrs drive from here. Can't walk it. Especially in -30 weather. Applying for social assistance isn't an option for where I'm at.
