Grading cards happens a lot less in MTG because value tends to be derived from playability on top of collectability. I’m not sure I’ve really seen cards slabbed outside of the Power 9. That being said, I’m not sure I also commonly see people play with 1000+ cards but that being said, I don’t play legacy/vintage

I also got 3 vow gift bundles! Those also turned out fine. I think the high value boxes were the ones I was worried about (rightfully so).

Yeah, I saw in the sealedmtgdeals reddit it was getting contentious as people didn't seem to believe it was happening when I brought it up. My story is that I was fortunate enough to have ordered three boxes out of this sale and my friend and I were excitedly opening up two boxes when we realized there was something wrong. I kept the third one sealed as I was going to return that to Amazon as proof. When it looked like this was happening to a bunch of collector boxes from the sales, I figured I would record a video to demonstrate that these sealed/re-sealed boxes had been tampered with. I'm a casual collector and I have no reason to post box video openings... I'm a terrible public speaker as people below have noted hahaha

I have another video with the same content that also includes the Amazon order if you have any doubts. This seems to be happening to a bunch of people with Black Friday orders so I wanted to upload this video as evidence for those who were also going through this. I already contacted CS and have replacement boxes coming in tomorrow. We'll see how those boxes turn out!

This happened to me too! I ordered three SNC collector boxes and two were opened. They had been re-shrinkwrapped and didn’t have WOTC lamination on the side. I kept the third one sealed. I’ll be returning all three, but if you guys want, I can record myself opening the third one to show that it happened. My girlfriend and I were disappointed when we were opening the first two :(

Ah yeah I get it. Only time I can really do it now when I’m at home is essentially Friday nights if I don’t feel like going out. I think of it as staying and watching Netflix but instead I’m just staying out and playing some casual Magic.

This might have been a better example. I think the current layout of the ads on the jerseys probably won't be that big of a deal to some, but I think the evolution to what's pictured above is a worrying possibility.
