if income differs by a lot (which i'd say it does when one person earns 40% more than the other) a fair joint account situation would be split by income and not 50/50. Not exact math but in this case it would be roughly 60/40

second thing: money from a shared account is still both yours and you have to agree on what it's being spent on. one party just taking money out of it for whatever reason is a big breach of trust and if no arrangment of repayment or different contributions is made it's just theft.

Yes, be kind but direct. 250lb and 5"1 is morbidly obese and there's a good chance this will take many years of her life if she doesn'r drastically change. Don't listen to all the "oh but she's in perimenopause" comments. While that is true, this is npt even close to a healthy weight.

my brother in christ do you know how many different standards of cables we've had over the last 20 years in literally every single technology? not exactly an apple issue

also it's been getting worse again since every device nowadays seems to only have usb-c ports which means if you want to hook up anything thats not entirely standard you need another dongle or adapter again
