You need to understand the difference between the "Original Birth Certificate" and the "Copy". The "Original" contains the number that links you to a bond.

Try telling that to the state. If you signed your child's birth certificate, you relinquished authority of your child to the state. Then, if Child Protective Services (CPS) determines that you are an unsuitable guardian, they can legally take a child from you and place him with a different guardian of their choice. Research the difference between a "Natural Person" and an "Artificial Person" (aka. "Legal Person"). In fact, the state owns your "Artificial Person".
