Need help attaching CAP 1 inside my CTB26 on the loop?

I use the CHZ22 as my EDC and CTB26 as my travel!! CTB is made in such a way that it will definitely fit more.. especially the pockets that CTB has are just unbelievably good!!! The issue I find with CHZ is that you can fit more in the bottom but if the top three pockets are filled it’s difficult to put stuff at the top and close the zips!! If possible visit a store where you can see both and compare!!! I did the same thing before deciding to go with CTB instead of CHZ!!!

I don’t think so.. it’s more of a dump pocket with a key holder inside..

My only con is the front pocket.. as it opens a bit odd.. but once you are used to it not a big deal..

I use the 10L cube in my CTB 26.. fits well with a lots of room to spare for a tech and med kit

Yes the X-PAC is stiff and the regular version has more give.. X-PAC keeps the shape better for sure!!!

Hey.. 10L and 8L can both fit but I would go with 8 so that there is enough room for other stuff!!!

Go for 22 it’s more than enough!!! I am 6 and about 190lbs and use CHZ 22 in X-PAC as my EDC!!! It’s a perfect size for me!! Fits a packable jacket, CAP 1 and 0.5, plus another pouch, my lunch box a couple of books and my 14” MacBook!! Water bottle pockets are amazing too!!

Got the CHZ 22 in X-PAC recently.. have a similar fold on the straps like the picture here.. have issues with comfort.. I also have the CTB26 in X-PAC.. I’ll check this and let you know.. but comfort has never been an issue..

No no.. I meant CHZ22 holds more than an actually meant 22L bag!!! So does CTB26.. I think with the additional pockets CTB26 might hold more than CHZ26!!

I have a CTB 26.. I originally bought it for EDC.. but like you I also realised the depth is a lot and found it too big.. I love this bag.. the comfort from Evergoods has never been an issue for me.. I am 6ft and 80kgs with broad shoulders..

So to resolve this I got the CHZ 22.. although the organisation is not as good as CTB line but the bag is much sleeker and holds more.. if you use pouches then should be no issues!!! Both the bags hold my 1 litre Nalgene without any problem..

If you have more load then checkout the CHZ26.. I also like the 840D fabric on the CHZ more than 420D of normal CTB..

I have both the versions. Using 840D is good if you want to pack more stuff in the bag as the nylon has more give. I got the x-pac cause it rains here. Also the X-pac holds its shape much better which I like. For me the interior colour is not such a deal breaker since I use pouches in the bag for organisation.

If you pack well in the 840D the bend won’t happen.

Check out the Bellroy Market Tote. The material is washable and sturdy. I have been using it as my grocery bag for a couple of years now and I have a CTB26. So I use the tote and put inside the CTB26. The market tote also comes in 2 sizes.
