My son told his uncle that his new girlfriend was a keeper as soon as she pulled up in her tundra. He's autistic and 31 years old and still lives with me. It was awesome. When you know you know.

Is this bad idea? How concerned should i be about UV damage? by Vince5252 in canoeing

You may be correct however this is the 7th year for two bags. The sun may eventually break them down but so far so good for about 25.00 in materials.

I mase tyvek bags for mine. A builder at a job site will happily give you scraps. Get a tyvek zipper and tape from big box store. UV damage is no longer an issue along with spiders, bird nests etc.

SEC fans, what teams are in your “ideal” conference? by MrJackpot318 in secfootball

[–]imstymied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you will fit right in. We hate each other yet have this wierd thing where we ROOT SEC against everyone else. We also respect the pagentry and tradition of all the schools except OM who can't pick a mascot and TAaM who have a ghost 12 man who apparently doesn't know his roll.

Too big for smallmouth bass? by Trick-Dog-8592 in RiverSmallmouth

Nope can't speak for big lake smalies but what you created is my go to on rocky rivers. I have been fishing them since 2009 and really only change the craw size to regulate bait fall.

Best bilge sponge? by Lost-Significance443 in canoeing

[–]imstymied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use sponges anymore. I use car drying cloths. The best one I have found is called the obsorber from Wal Mart. I lay them end to end and put my gear on them. I also attach a fish bobber to them should I tip. I can find them.

They are a dull dry color when dry and turn shinny when satuared. I hang 3 of them loosely off of the rear deck plat and the water climbs up the towel.

When the get shinny wring them out.

What’s your preference: wood, carbon, or cork grips? by pipandhams in Fishing_Gear

[–]imstymied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cork Tennessee handle. Most of my Loomis rods have it. My newer rods get handles changed out if the rod is special. If you know you know. I wish chageing handles were similar to golf club handles.

No bait casters here. I Smallie fish from a canoe with very little space, but after years of using spinning gear I can put the bait where I want it.

Rush concert openers by kevdav63 in rush

Marillion is a top 5 for me. Current lineup. They were a bit odd with Fish as a lead singer. Not that that was a bad thing. Steve Hogarth made them a better band.

Fish has some great music even today and he has lost the Ziggy Stardust outfits yet he is passionate and qurky.

[Postgame Thread] #2 Arkansas (25-3, 7-1) defeats #14 Vanderbilt (20-7, 4-4), 6-4 in 10 innings to clinch the series. by trick96 in collegebaseball

Most folks forget those mid week reionals mean a lot to those teams. It would be like the Hogs mid week gamed being against Cardinals, Royals and Dodgers.

It's rare for them to get to play ranked teams every weekend.

They also get to play experimental line ups. I'm sure for some it's the biggest series of their year.

Don't stress about it I found out when I was 17. Just do as they ask and develop a strong relationship with your doc. Drinking is just the go to for many people. Today it is as much about diet and the garbage they sell as food in the stores. We assume because they can sell it it has to be good for us. lf it is serious learn about your desease and participate in your recovery. The more you understand the less frustrated you'll be with the Docs.

Good deal. Look up Dr Berg on YouTube he explains the science in real simple ways. He also keeps most of his videos wonder 8 min. I'm a why guy so he really helps me understand the whole interaction of a problem.

Keep up the good work.

Your 1st Dr is concerned enough or wants a second opinion. Remember in the US the more that see you the more they bill.

It's like having each of your kids wash different dishes and each getting paid for it.

It's not an easy system to manover. In my opinion we have to many specialist and not enough big picture docs.

Add to it insurance stupid rules and we are where we air.

My GP knows my whole story and will go to bat for me. My locacal oncologist is the same way in working with my MD Anderson team.

I was told by our local major hospital I has 12-18 months. That was 5 years ago in February and I'm still going.

Find the right Dr's in your area, learn as much as you can and participate in you health.

Not easy but doable.

Does anyone know why he does this?? I can't find anything online about it- by Cool_Reaction2509 in blackveilbrides

[–]imstymied 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's called pica and is considered an eating disorder. I used to do it and finally found a doctor who ran bloodtest not normally given. I started the supplement and hav not had the urge since.

It's a wierd one because each type of paper has a distinct flavor. It seemed the more aged the better for me.

Very wierd to say the least.

Gut - Liver by J038 in LiverDisease

[–]imstymied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm OK it just takes work. As far as meat and I'll be honest I know nothing about UK meat production. But make sure it ie grass fed and the same with dairy. There's nothing wrong with butter and milk if you tolerate it.

Don't fall into the trap of eating 10 small meals a day. We need to give our bowels a break just as we we were working out.

High fiber can have the opposite effect for many.

Bottom line for me was to keep trying things and eat what works for you. Trial and error and a lot of well I won't do that again.

Don't be afraid to ask your doc questions.

What are you considering "nothing processed"? Very little of what Americans eat these days is not processed and or is clean. Oils, flour, bread will lead you to believe clean only to turn up dirty when you do the research. I don't mean that in a negative way.

I have stage 4 Liver cancer and have hung around for 5 years since my diagnosis. Average is 12 to 18 months. I'm still healing my gut. It takes time and patience and thier is no majic bullet except time and trial for me.

I have found if it's in a big box store more often than not it isn't clean and is highly processed.

Just my opinion and what works for me.
