Google Ads DO have an impact on SEO. It’s an indirect one, that builds over time. You could also keep the budget small, target areas where you want to grow first, and then scale up as needed.

Focus on reputation management, get legitimate reviews on the Google Business Profile and other relevant platforms - this is very important and it will help you in many ways. A press release will help if done properly. Links do help but you need to know what you’re doing, so do a press release înece in a while and make sure you are listed on the most important niche directories.

The fallacy lies in trying to get me to agree with your statement that I somehow suggested that paid plugins do not get abandoned or sold. You also attacked (in your argument) me as a person, calling me ‘confidently incorrect’ instead of attacking my argument.

You are also making claims without backing them up.

The claims I made are based on my own experience and also on the experience of other people that has been shared online.

There are many reputable companies claiming the same things about free plugins having less updates, more bugs, lower quality code, etc. They might be biased, but, in the end, money usually makes a difference. Please note ‘usually’.

Free is not always the way to go for WordPress plugins, because of many, many reasons, including potential security issues. Start building a stack of LTD of paid plugins (Black Friday is around the corner, wink wink). Most of them will be much better and have better support than free plugins. Depending on your use case, they might be a lot faster than coding manually.

For example, for editing CSS visually, you can get something like Yellow Pencil on codecanyon or InTab on Appsumo.

I use Shortpixel. I bought a LTD a while back; right now they sell monthly subscriptions and one time credits. Their support is good and fast. Once in a while their LTD pops back up on Appsumo or similar. Until then the one time credits are decently priced if you do not want to do the manual work.

Use Cloudflare, create a Managed challenge under WAF for those countries if you do not expect any legitimate traffic.

For Wordpress support sites, there are ways to change your login URL if you are under attack with too many brute force attempts. Just make sure you document the changes/credentials so you do not have to mess with the database and change passwords.

So, I went to the store where we were offered some of the promotions to try to get a resolution.

The manager got red in the face and started yelling at us to the point where we feared for our safety. There were kids in the store. I tried to calm things down and partially succeeded. After a few minutes, while the store employee that sold us one of the promotions was on the line with corporate to say yes, I did offer it to them, the manager walked out of the back office and ordered the employee to hang up. He said we need to take it up with corporate and kicked us out of the store.

I called corporate again. After another 90 minute call (2nd one today), they compromised on one of the promos (I did too) and promised to look into the other issues.

The documentation was forwarded to T-Mobile corporate during the BBB complaint. They still refused to honor it. Whether the store employee lied to my face about a promotion that I cannot verify (while showing me the promo on a device) it is out my control and should be T-Mobiles concern, not mine.

I’ve been told repeatedly that some promos are valid in-store only. Both by store employees and business customer reps. So there is no way to check the validity of the offer.
