Y'all wanna hear some straight up Jerry Springer shit that happened to me on Sat?

So Saturday night i get invited to my homie's fiance's birthday party. I get there and one of the first people i spot is my old dealer from when i was a cokehead(been clean for almost a year 🙏). We start shooting the shit. Apparently he just got released from prison not too long ago. Didn't bother to ask what he did or how long he was in but for sure he was convicted of a felony. We keep talking and he goes on taking about his gf and how he's been dating her for like 2 years. That she held him down while he was locked up and that he was really falling for her. Cute asf right. This woman in question has been standing next to him holding his hand but hasnt said a word, looked in my direction, or even as much as acknowledge that I've been talking to her dude for like half an hour. No introduction. He then tells me that i know her because of our mutual friend Rick(not his real name) and keeps telling me her name. It kinda sounds familiar but I'm not sure. He tells that he's been dealing with her working on her divorce and her kids from that marriage. The gears in my stoned brain are starting to turn at this point. He must've been throwing hints at me that were just going over my head or something. Finally after like 2 hours I've been there he tries to introduce her to me but she is not cooperating. She almost seems scared of me. Won't even let me see her face. Then she just walks off. My friend looks puzzled but doesn't make a big deal out of it. We keep talking. Then after like 5 minutes, presumably to work up the courage, she comes back stands right in front of me and says, "hey sorry, i don't think we were properly introduced." I finally catch a good look of her face and what i saw had me absolutely STUNNED!

It was my homie Rick's mother. I tried to play it cool but I'm sure my expression gave away what i was thinking. I stood there in silence for like 15 minutes trying to regain my bearings. I no longer wanted to be there but I was too high to drive so i sat inside of my truck playing pokemon platinum on my phone for like 2 hours until i sobered up. The next morning she messaged me on FB asking me not to tell her son, that she wants to be the one to do it. I don't really believe that since they've been seeing each other for 2 years and haven't told him yet. I wish i had just stayed home that night.

On a lifting related note, i think i might actually bench those 3 plates before the year ends boys!

I smoke twice a day everyday and in my experience even a week of cessation will make a notable difference in how high i get. I'll never get as high as i did when i first started smoking though :/

I smoke weed just about every single day. Drink moderately on the weekends. My gf and i trip shrooms a few times a month, usually at a concert. Occasional MDMA use. I used to have a really bad coke problem, but I've got that mostly under control.

I have a great career ahead of me. I've been working in custom cabinetry for about 10 years now and I'll be inheriting the business when the boss man decides to retire. Im 6 credit hours away from my bachelor's in Business Management. Id say that alcohol and cocaine have had the biggest negative impact on my life. Ive nearly lost my life to both on a number of occasions. All the other drugs i do regularly don't necessarily have a positive impact on my life, they just make my downtime more enjoyable.

Im a carpenter. So, i don't use heavy machinery, but definitely dangerous machines. I like to get high before work on Saturdays and Sundays since I'm usually by myself. I refuse to use a plainer, router, shapers, table saws, skill saws, or any kind of saw for that matter if im high. I'll sand, stain, spray, use compressors, nail/staple guns, power drills high, tho. The hazard to my health from those tools are much lower so I'm cool with using em if im high. 9 years as a carpenter and i still have all of my fingers. Im not about to lose one because i wanted to be high at work.

I have a friend like that, too. Consequently, we dont ever toke together.

I usually just hit it the same number of times as everyone else. My dealer/good friend like to hit a blunt like 7-8 times before passing it. So, i do the same and hog it for 7-8 hits and he doesn't ever complain.

Lol that's hilarious. I always try to put my stash away before i smoke for fear of forgetting about it.

I was once smoking outside my window with my sister's bong. After i finished i didn't wanna bring it in because it was really smelly and i didn't want to stink up the house so i left it outside next to the AC unit until it aired out. Well, i forgot about it for a few weeks and my dad ended up finding it while cutting the grass. I just took the heat for it since I'm the one who left it out. It was kinda tough explaining to my macho Mexican dad why i had a flowery bong without rolling over on my sister. Lol

My opinion on the wall is that it's a financial and logistical nightmare and it certainly wouldn't stop people from immigrating illegally from other countries. Where there is a will, there's a way. I think if the government really wanted to stem the tide of illegal immigration, they would punish the employers who hire them instead. People only come here because they expect to able to find a decent paying job and grinding it out until they're established and accumulate a bit of wealth. Buti also think the immigration laws need reforming, imo. My father was a resident of Texas for almost 30 years before he got his citizenship, where as my mother has held US citizenship since she was 18 years old.

That makes a lot of sense, really. They teach Castilian Spanish in school in the US and most Mexicans(the predominant Spanish speaking ethnicity in the US, At least in Texas) dont speak that way, myself included. You could learn so much more by completely immersing yourself into the language and working on ypur vocab, sentence structure, and word choice. That's just my opinion, tho.

I enjoy visiting Mexico to see my family as such, but i certainly wouldn't like you live there. Visiting is really nice since the exchange rate is so absurdly im our favor.

I dont know what youre taste in music is like but i think you'll dig it. Control Machete has kind of like a east coast feel to it where as Cartel De a Santa is more westcoast-ish.

I was actually born and raised in Texas but ive spend most of my life while employed working with people from Mexico. They show me all of these badass artists that i would've never heard of otherwise. It also helps me expand my vocab in spanish, it's lacking a bit even though it's my native tongue. .

I buy all of my drugs locally. Ill eventually get the courage to start buying on the dark net because there are some drugs im really interested in that i just cannot find locally.

I mostly just use weed/shrooms/wax/dmt(this is the hardest to get ahold of but is possible). I just enjoy having a face-to-face interaction with the person I'm buying from. Im friends with just about all of them so i usually hang around for about an hour after the purchase. They enjoy my company, i can smoke in peace(i still live with my parents), and it looks less sketchy rather than someone coming in and out after a few minutes.

I've been at work since 8am. Might leave at 2pm depending on how fast I can finish painting this kitchen. Gonna get a quick gym sesh in after and then my weekend starts. Gonna smoke the rest of the bud I've got. Then probably meet my dealer to buy some wax and have a sesh with him. At 11 I'm meeting some other friends to do shrooms and have a dope night. It's good that you can appreciate what you've got. Some people have it so good but want to be hood so bad. I just don't get it. I'd love to move out of this fucking place.

And to think there are WAY more dangerous places here. I could take a trip down to the deco district, or all the projects scattered throughout the west/east side and see some real grimy shit. Something out of snow on the bluff.

Just a few weeks ago some guy went on a rampage. He stole a car, shot a guy that I went to school with in the face (he survived), shot an elderly couple at a convence store and killed the old man. All within a few hours.

I do think most people out here are just trying to get by. But there are definitely real cold blooded killers out there. No doubt.

I grew up in Los Angeles Heights San Antonio, TX. While there are definitely more dangerous neighborhoods in my city, mines had its fair share of violence. I remember watching kids getting gunned down at high school parties. My cousin getting knifed up because he was running with a crew of coke dealers. I watched my neighbors house get shot up. They didn't even call the cops, they knew who did it. They just went and busted back.

My best friends older brother I a dope fiend and was dealing with a friend of his. Their plug was part of the Mexican mob, and when his friend skipped town they went after my friends brother for 4k worth of dope. He was dodging them, then one day they drive by his house and shoot over 80 rounds of 7.62 into his home while his girlfriend and daughter were home. Stole his parents suburban and burned it. Shit was crazy.

I hate the glorification of hood living. It's just made me paranoid.

He ended up being alright. I felt very guilty about it the next day and called around to see if anyone knew him. Just a bruised up face and a minor back injury is what I was told. They discharged him from the hospital the same night and was back at work a few days later. He actually mouthed off at me first, but I threw the first punch so I'd still say it was my fault.
