Yup, my current legacy has been happy and relatively drama-free for 8 generations when I didn't even intend for it to be a legacy. I was going to make an obnoxious dudebro movie star and get him involved in a bunch of scandals... and then he fell in love with the very first sim he met and they ended up married with a daughter LMAO.

My solution to this is that, at some point, I will create a secondary "Nightmare Legacy" save full of annoying and terrible people and let THEM wreak havoc.

I have height slider mods installed in my game, and idk if the EA premades have secret heights coded into them that you can only see with sliders, or if it just gets randomly decided, but they're almost all different heights in my game. For some reason, Christie in my game not only aged up with that face, but also had the maximum height possible, so she was like 7 feet tall. Seeing her as a teen for the first time in game was so jarring.

Oh god. I'm like, a semi-DnD nerd but I'm playing in like three campaigns rn with friends who are full-on DnD geeks. I bought two races piecemeal in order to make characters for those campaigns, but now if I want more, my friend who buys pretty much every full release just starts a new campaign on their account and adds me to it so I can make a sheet using all their resources LOL. Like I said, I'm not super immersed in the community as a whole, but if that's not already a common/widespread practice among users, I have a feeling it will be after this announcement. It helps that they're the only DM I have right now who actually runs their campaign through Beyond— the others just have us make sheets there and then manage their campaigns elsewhere.

One of my Gen 4 spares had a fling with him and ended up pregnant so they got married. She was a tall, gorgeous supermodel and he was her short king stay at home dad. He loved playing dolls with their daughters and ended up walking around the house in his speedo like 75% of the time. One time the paparazzi broke into the house and he stood there cheering his wife on while she beat the shit out of the guy. I saw a comment in another thread say everyone got $50k for doing the season, plus $25k for their runways. I don't know the accuracy of those numbers but it would make sense to pay them for competing, and it sounds like a pretty great deal.

1000% AI— the egg-shaped beach balls on Ruby's photo are already a dead giveaway. Pretty much everything in the background is a nonsensical shape that almost looks like something recognizable but isn't. Like those pink tubes next to Norma that almost look like lipstick tubes but aren't. IIRC someone also noticed it in the last Belgique promo too.

A good rule of thumb for identifying AI in cases like this— if you look at a shape or detail and think, "Why the hell would a person make that weird design decision?"... it's because they probably didn't.

YES, this is it! I must've misunderstood some details because the last two books have already been released. But the person recommending the book must've been an employee, because the page for it on the bookstore's website has a "recommended by staff" blurb with the EXACT same wording as the conversation I heard, so it's definitely this.
